The Radar Target Echo & Radio Altimeter Target Echo and Jamming Simulation Simulator is a specialized device designed to generate RF/IF radar target echo signals, radio altimeter target echo signals, and jamming signals. It serves as dedicated equipment for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation testing and verification of radar systems and radio altimeters. Adopting a universal modular architecture, this simulator features high-performance indicators, excellent consistency, and superior interchangeability—ensuring reliable adaptability and stable operation in relevant test scenarios.

Product Composition

  • Repeater radar target and jamming simulator: realize the simulation of target echo and jamming signal based on DRFM technology;
  • Injection radar target simulator: it can simulate the target echo of sum and difference channel and be received by radar through baseband, if or RF injection;
  • Outdoor portable radar target simulator: it is easy to operate and carry.

Product Function

  • It can truly simulate the echo signal characteristics of radar target and radio altimeter target, including amplitude, range delay, Doppler frequency, etc;
  • It can simulate various jamming signals, including noise jamming (aiming noise jamming, blocking noise jamming, frequency sweeping noise jamming, pulse jamming, convolution noise jamming), deception jamming (range towing, velocity towing, range velocity joint towing, etc.), false target (multiple uniform false targets or multiple independent false targets), scintillation jamming, comb spectrum jamming, chaff jamming, and drag jamming;
  • It can simulate the amplitude and phase of target echo signal in sum and difference channel, and realize the simulation of target angle information;
  • Provide RS232, RS485, LVDS, Ethernet and other communication interfaces.

Electronic Countermeasure Radio Altimeter MY-18A、19A

Developed to meet the requirements of electronic countermeasures and terminal penetration, the MY-18A and MY-19A electronic countermeasure radio altimeters incorporate a range of advanced technologies including frequency agility, radiated power control, beam control, anti-burnout, anti-blocking, and echo frequency-domain processing—endowing them with excellent anti-jamming performance. Meanwhile, these altimeters also integrate a sea state identification function, which leverages information such as echo spectrum broadening, Doppler frequency, and altitude under different sea conditions to achieve accurate sea state recognition.

MDG-300 Radio Altimeter

The MDG-300 radio height-fixing device operates in the C-band and adopts a pulse compression system. Its sensitive component is of the heterodyne type, and the circulator at the antenna terminal uses a transceiver common-mode design. Prior to missile launch, the height-fixing device is powered on, and it undergoes self-check and height presetting via the communication interface. After the missile is launched, the radio frequency (RF) module is activated, and a gate is set in accordance with the preset height. When the preset height is reached, the device outputs height-fixing command information and telemetry data. The MDG-300 height-fixing device features mature technology: its pulse compression technology can enhance the altimeter’s height measurement performance, and it has the characteristic of a wide height measurement range. Additionally, the digital pulse compression function based on FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array) endows it with advantages such as small size, low power consumption, and low cost.

Full Function Radio Altimeter MMK-4

The MMK-4 altimeter is a full-function radio altimeter that meets aerospace standards; serving as a key component for longitudinal altitude channel control, it can be widely applied in cruise missiles and aircraft to measure altitude relative to the sea or ground. The MMK-4 adopts linear modulation coefficient technology adaptive to height changes and echo signal narrow-band receiving technology to enhance the product’s resistance to active interference, uses coherent local oscillator mixing to achieve superior performance in resisting co-frequency asynchronous interference, employs echo signal spectrum front detection technology to improve tracking accuracy, and follows the design principles of serialization, standardization, and modularization—endowing it with good product inheritance, maturity, and reliability.

MDG-100 Radio Height Setting Device

The MDG-100 radio altimeter operates in the C-band and adopts a pulse Doppler working system. Its sensitive device is of the heterodyne type, and the circulator at the antenna terminal uses a transceiver common-mode design. With mature technology, this altimeter is installed on missiles and serves as a control component for altitude fuzes. It features capabilities such as high burst altitude, strong adaptability to high falling speeds, and excellent performance in resisting ground clutter and sea clutter. Additionally, it employs pseudo-random pulse modulation technology: the pulse period varies randomly within a specified range, making it difficult for jammers to identify the initial modulation pulse of the fuze signal and further predict the delayed pulse. This design effectively enhances the altimeter’s resistance to active interference.

Micro Radio Altimeter MY-2001

The MY-2001 altimeter is a new-generation radar altimeter designed for small missile aircraft; as a compact, full-function radio altimeter that meets aerospace standards, it serves as a key component for longitudinal height channel control and can be widely used in cruise missiles and UAVs to measure altitude relative to the sea or ground. The MY-2001 adopts linear modulation coefficient technology adaptive to height changes and echo signal narrow-band receiving technology to enhance the product’s resistance to active interference, uses coherent local oscillator mixing to achieve superior performance in resisting co-frequency asynchronous interference, employs echo signal spectrum front detection technology to improve tracking accuracy, and follows the three design principles of serialization, standardization, and modularization to ensure good product inheritance; moreover, built on a closed-loop tracking system, it integrates digital control technology, microwave integration technology, and hybrid integration technology to realize product miniaturization.

MASS-06 Continuous Echo Simulation Excitation System of Radio Altimeter

The MASS-06 Echo Signal Simulation Excitation System, hereinafter referred to as the "Simulation Excitation Source", is a dedicated equipment designed for the hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation of radio altimeters. It serves as a key component in replicating real-world echo signal scenarios, providing targeted excitation signals that enable the radio altimeter to operate under simulated physical conditions—effectively bridging the gap between theoretical testing and actual operational environments to validate the altimeter’s performance, responsiveness, and reliability.

The MASS-18 Universal Echo Precision Delay Module, characterized by its miniature design and universal continuous simulation capability, is a high-precision component engineered for precise echo signal delay adjustment in radio frequency (RF) testing scenarios. It specializes in delivering accurate, customizable delay for echo signals across a broad frequency range, making it compatible with diverse RF devices—including radio altimeters, surveillance radars, and communication systems—that require reliable echo signal simulation. Its compact form factor allows easy integration into space-constrained test setups, while the universal continuous simulation function ensures consistent replication of real-world signal delay conditions (such as those caused by varying altitudes or distances). By enabling precise control over echo delay, the module plays a critical role in verifying key performance metrics of target devices, such as signal capture accuracy, delay response, and data processing reliability, thereby supporting the development, calibration, and quality assurance of high-performance RF equipment with flexibility and precision.​
