These data are managed by link protocols, which enable the transfer of digital data from a data source to a data receiver.
A data chain, on the other hand, is a tactical wireless data communication system that operates across ground-space, space-space, and ground-ground scenarios. It transmits formatted digital information in real time using a bit-oriented approach, leveraging technologies such as modulation/demodulation, encoding/decoding, anti-interference, networked communication, and information fusion—all in accordance with specified information formats and communication protocols.
