The Radar Altimeter Echo Simulation System is designed to replicate the real-world operating scenarios of various radar altimeter systems. It generates and outputs radar altimeter echo excitation signals under complex working conditions, serving as a key tool for evaluating the comprehensive performance of radar altimeters.
This system is capable of simulating multiple critical signal scenarios, including radar altimeter echoes, surface target echoes, multi-path propagation of radar echoes during aircraft landing phases, radar altimeter echoes under different flight attitudes, forward and backward Doppler effects, and antenna direct wave signals. It is widely applied in testing the altitude-measuring performance of radar altimeters, as well as in verifying the functionality of altimeter control systems or integrated monitoring systems.

Radar Target Echo and Altimeter Target Echo and Jamming Scene Simulation System

The Radar Target Echo & Radio Altimeter Target Echo and Jamming Simulation Simulator is a specialized device designed to generate RF/IF radar target echo signals, radio altimeter target echo signals, and jamming signals. It serves as dedicated equipment for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation testing and verification of radar systems and radio altimeters. Adopting a universal modular architecture, this simulator features high-performance indicators, excellent consistency, and superior interchangeability—ensuring reliable adaptability and stable operation in relevant test scenarios.

Radio Altimeter MY-3001D

The MY-3001D radio altimeter incorporates two key technologies: a linear modulation coefficient technology that adapts to altitude changes and a narrow-band receiving technology for echo signals, both of which effectively enhance the product’s resistance to active interference. It also adopts coherent local oscillator mixing, granting it superior performance in resisting co-frequency asynchronous interference, and employs echo signal spectrum front-edge detection technology to boost tracking accuracy. In terms of design, the altimeter follows the principles of serialization, standardization, and modularization. While retaining its closed-loop tracking system, it further integrates digital control technology, microwave integration technology, and hybrid integration technology to achieve product modularization. Additionally, it features a three-dimensional design based on serialization, standardization, and modularization, endowing the product with excellent inheritance, maturity, and reliability. The MY-28A and MY-24 (also designated as XXX-28A and XXX-24) are miniaturized C-band full-function radio altimeters that comply with aerospace standards. Serving as key components for the control of the longitudinal altitude channel, they are specifically designed for a certain type of UAV target. These altimeters possess excellent anti-interference performance and electromagnetic compatibility, enabling them to accurately measure altitude relative to the sea surface or the ground.
The MY-28A and MY-24 are developed following the three core design principles of serialization, standardization, and modularization. This design approach endows the products with strong design inheritance, ensuring they are mature and reliable in operation. To date, these two models of radio altimeters have been widely applied in multiple types of aircraft, with their total deployment quantity exceeding 800 units.

Special Circuit for Altimeter

During the development of radio altimeters, an Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) tailored for this device has been developed. This ASIC integrates key functional components such as a linear modulation module, a receiving module, a frequency identification module, and a logic module.
